Portlandia - Pinot Noir
Portlandia - Pinot Noir
TASTING NOTES: Bright aromas of ripe strawberry and raspberry open up on the nose along with a hint of cedar. Vibrant flavors of red cherry and cranberry follow, accompanied by accents of black tea and thy me, with a dash of pink peppercorn. Fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity provide structure and balance through the lingering finish.
WINEMAKER NOTES: We hand-selected lots from several sources throughout Oregon’s cooler wine-growing regions including 5% from the historic Hy land Vineyard in McMinnville, and 3% from Dundee Hills. After crush, we cold-fermented in open-top vats using hand punch downs and then aged for 10 months in 20% new French oak.
